To be free; to have choice; to exercise action.
CANADA goes to the polls today. Canadian elections remind me of how precious freedom is and how much I have to be grateful for. As I walk across the street to my local polling station, and bid good day to my fellow citizens as they also make their way to vote, my heart swells. My vote is easily available. I get to vote in safety. My vote gets counted.
I am so very lucky. I have the incredible privilege of Canadian citizenship. This is one of the greatest gifts that will ever be bestowed on me.
Thank you to all the volunteers who make election day possible. There’s still time!
